This class has a lot of reading and writing and many discussions about different topics. We talked a lot about the food, fashion, community, marketing communication, recycling and pollution. Blogging has been a great way to write more about sustainability issues in class. This has taught me about marketing social and environmental issues and the ability to practice marketing styles.
This class taught me a lot about sustainability.
I highly recommend taking this class to learn more too.

The course contains heavy reading, writing, and talking through different subjects related to sustainability. Dr. Hughes also incorporates field trips, guest speakers, and projects in order to cover many industries, in terms of learning how to be sustainable. Interesting course that does not only focus locally or nationally but in a global-scale.

In the field of marketing, sustainability is vital. This class has demonstrated the importance of it on various platforms. I entered the class with an assumption of what sustainable marketing is, and i am leaving the class with even more skills and knowledge about the topic. Sustainable marketing is more than just a tool to increase revenue, it can be used to promote better ways of living. I really enjoyed this class and can comfortably walk away knowing I expanded on a topic that will not only be useful in my career, but also my life!

This class has opened my eyes to what sustainability really is. It’s taught me how much waste we have for every process. This class has made me view the world in a completely different way!

This class opened up my eyes on a lot of topics that do not get covered in most other marketing classes. It was interesting looking into the fashion and food industry to see how sustainable they really are. The projects that are completed are perfect for a portfolio to take with you to a job interview.

Sustainability has been a constant topic of discussion for all the years I have attended Woodbury University. I am glad this class was offered and taught by Dr.Hughes to create a greater awareness about the subject, on and off campus, and educate those who don’t know. This class helped expand my knowledge about sustainability and explore the different industries this issue affects. The class discussions, field trips, and documentaries definitely opened up my eyes more and has made me alter my behavior towards sustainability and my consumption habits.
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this course. Dr. Hughes keeps it fun and interesting by incorporating field trips and guest speakers and fascinating documentaries. Definitely a great class. I’d take it again and would recommend it to anyone.

There is a lot you hear, especially attending Woodbury University, about sustainability and other social topics that sometimes is hard to keep tabs on all of it. This class helps bring many subjects into perspective and made me more aware of these subjects.
